This is an academic project where I was tasked with illustrating a fictional poster for the Houston Zoo. This illustration was primarily done in Illustrator using the pen tool. One of the requirements was that the animal has to be non-domesticated, so I chose a binturong, mainly because I thought they looked cute and goofy. Another requirement was to create a pattern using an asset from the design, which proved tricky at first, but I came up with the solution to make a popcorn pattern based on the fact that binturongs smell like popcorn.
